Bio

Jeremaine Williams is entering his eight season as the head mens and womens basketball coach here at Enterprise State Community College. Williams started his coaching career in 2007 as a volunteer assistant under coach David James for the Enterprise-Ozark Community College mens team. During his time as a volunteer assistant at EOCC, Williams helped lead the Boll Weevils to back to back division championships. Williams coached the AAU Enterprise Thunder from 2007-2009 before heading back to coach in the college ranks in 2010 under the leadership of the legendary Charles Cole and former NBA standout Wesley Person. In 2013 Williams accepted the head coaching position for both the mens and womens teams and in his first season, led both teams to the Region 22 State Tournament. In 2016 Williams set a school record for winning 16 consecutive games and also one of many Elite 8 appearances in the ACCC Tournament. Williams has produced multiple 1st and 2nd team All-Region players in Region 22. Also having 38 student-athletes move on to play at the four year level. ESCC has three former players still playing overseas today. Off the court, Williams has really been able to increase the number of student-athletes who graduate each year from the mens and womens basketball teams. The Boll Weevils are very active in the community participating in events such as the Red Ribbon Parade, Special Olympics, and Read Across America. In 2017 Williams was awarded the Administrator of the year award by the ACCC. Williams was promoted to the Athletic Director position in 2019 and has big plans for Enterprise State athletics in the future. Williams attended Enterprise-Ozark Community College from 2002-2004 before transferring to Troy State University. A native of Bellwood, AL and a graduate of Geneva County High School. Williams is married to his wife Rachel and they have one son Brycen.
