The Enterprise State Community College baseball team is making waves this season, and we couldn’t be prouder of our Boll Weevils! With a strong 20-6 overall record and an impressive 13-3 standing in the Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC), our team has fought hard to earn a No. 13 ranking in the latest NJCAA Division II Baseball Poll. This recognition is a testament to the dedication, skill, and relentless drive of our players and coaching staff.

Riding the Momentum

Our boys have been locked in on the field, delivering standout performances game after game. A few highlights from recent matchups include:

  • March 14, 2025: A dominant 11-3 win over Bishop State, where our offense came alive in a big way.
  • March 16, 2025: A tough doubleheader against Bishop State—after dropping the first game 9-3, we bounced back in true Boll Weevil fashion with a 5-4 victory in Game 2.
  • March 20, 2025: We swept Wallace Community College-Dothan in a thrilling doubleheader, securing wins of 7-6 and 15-4 to solidify our conference lead.

These victories showcase the resilience and determination of our team, proving that they are ready to take on any challenge that comes their way.

Upcoming Battles on the Diamond

As we head into the next stretch of the season, our focus remains on keeping this momentum going. Here’s a look at the upcoming schedule:

  • March 22, 2025: Doubleheader at Wallace Community College-Dothan (12:00 PM & 3:00 PM CST)
  • March 27, 2025: Away doubleheader at Coastal Alabama - North (12:00 PM & 3:00 PM CST)
  • March 29, 2025: Home doubleheader against Coastal Alabama - North (12:00 PM & 3:00 PM CST)

These matchups will be critical as we push toward our goal of a conference championship and a deep postseason run. We encourage all ESCC students, faculty, and supporters to come out and cheer on the team. Your energy in the stands makes a difference!

Offensive Powerhouse

Our success this season has been fueled by a powerful offense that keeps the pressure on opposing teams. As of now, the team is hitting .352 with a .475 on-base percentage and a .493 slugging percentage. We’ve also launched 16 home runs so far, showing that our lineup is a force to be reckoned with.
